Techno-Guide Solutions provides mechanical support services at international cycling events including (but not limited to) the Cape Epic, Swiss Epic, Andorra Epic, 4Islands Epic and Wines2Whales.
Modern electronic shifting systems rely on manufacturer-installed batteries, firmware, wiring, junction units and internal components. While we conduct pre-event inspections and provide on-site support, Techno-Guide Solutions cannot be held liable for:
• Factory defects or latent manufacturing faults
• Firmware failures or electronic malfunctions
• Undisclosed prior damage or wear
• Battery degradation or unexpected battery failure
• Water ingress or environmental damage
• Any issue not reasonably detectable during standard pre-event checks
Electronic component failures are often manufacturer-related and may occur without warning, particularly under race conditions.
Clients are solely responsible for:
• Ensuring batteries are fully charged prior to each stage
• Disclosing any prior issues or repairs
• Ensuring firmware is up to date where required
• Carrying spare batteries and/or charging equipment where applicable
Techno-Guide Solutions accepts no responsibility for race delays, withdrawals, or losses resulting from electronic component or battery failure unless directly caused by proven negligence on our part.

Client insurance must extend beyond and operate independently of any cover held by Techno-Guide Solutions. By engaging our services, clients confirm that they have adequate and valid insurance in place for the duration of the event.
